There's another story that has been doing the rounds since a long time now, according to which, the houses in some of the villages around Bhangarh are roof-less. And others believe a totally different story, according to which a minister once wanted to marry a beautiful village girl. The villagers opposed and the minister threatened to double their taxes. The villagers migrated to someplace else, leaving an undying spell in the land, according to which if anybody every inhabited their lands, they'd die.
